We grow local provenance trees and wildflowers from seed using Air-Pots and Maxi-root trainers. We are situated within the Green Gates Nature Reserve, which will soon be home to a Beaver enclosure.
We grow for our own projects and the council, the surplus we supply to the public and to conservation projects. Our seed is gathered from within Denbighshire County (Provenance map:304) and all trees are plant passported using Animal and Plant Health Guidelines.
We sell trees from 20-60cm (Cell grown) to 200cm in 1L, 3L, 12.5L pots and wildflowers in 500ml-1L plugs. We run volunteer sessions and are run by the Biodiversity and Ecology team of Denbighshire County Council.
We grow rare conservation sensitive trees such as native Black Poplar, Aspen and Wild Service Trees as well as a few rare Wildflowers.
We sell primarily through email and phone, if you contact us we will provide a species and price list.
We can take payments at the nursery too. We don’t have an online shop yet but we are working on this.
