About us
We are a small local charity that owns 175 acres of plantation on ancient wooodland (PAWS) in Caerphilly. We’re restoring it to native broadleaf to benefit wildlife and improve biodiversity. We undertake coppice cutting as part of this, and produce beanpoles, pea sticks and hedge stakes which we sell to raise funds for ongoing management.
